Simply connect the gas hose to a 5 gallon propane bottle and attach a garden hose or 12 volt pump to the heater. When the water is turned on, the ignitor, powered by two D cell batteries automatically lights the burner. When the water flow is turned off the burner automatically goes out. No buttons to push. Adjust the temperature and your ready for a nice long hot shower. The temperature will remain constant as long as the source water temp stays the same. With tankless there is no waiting for the water to heat up. You can take multiple showers one after another.
The Eccotemp L5 tankless propane water heater is ideal for portable use. It includes a gas hose and regulator to connect to a 10 or 20 pound BBQ type LP bottle. The intake adapter connects to a standard garden hose. It works great with a 12 volt demand pump when a pressurized water source is not available. Two "D" cell batteries provide automatic ignition, so no wasted gas on pilot lights. Burners come on when water flow starts and turn off when the water is shut off. Multi pattern shower nozzle with on / off gives you control while showering.
Delivering up to 1.5 gallons per minute of continuous hot water, the L5 is perfect for camping, houseboats, RV's, expedition vehicles, food concession, pet grooming, washing off by the pool or hot tub, emergency use and cabins.

Adjustable water temperature from 80-120 degrees F. Start with the Water Regulator at Max and the Gas Regulator at the minimum setting. If the temperature is too low increase the Gas Regulator until the output water is the desired temperature. If the intake water is extremely cold you may have to turn down the Water Regulator until the desired temperature is reached. Once it is set the temperature will remain the same as long as the source water temp stays constant.
If you wish to use water without it being heated, turn the ON/OFF switch at the bottom of the unit to OFF. This will disconnect the igniters and gas flow.

It comes with standard 1/2" NPT fittings for permanent plumbing or use the adapter to hook it up to a garden hose. The regulator and gas hose connect to a 20 pound grill tank. Two "D" cell batteries provide automatic ignition, so no electricity is needed and no gas is wasted on pilot lights. Delivers up to 2.65 gallons per minute of continuous hot water. The L10 is ideal for hunting lodges, base camps, off grid homes, cabins, potting sheds, barns and horse trailers, or even adding hot water to your pressure washer.
